A bridge expanding over Las Olas Boulevard connects to a tower which moves upwards from the city, creating growth within the urban fabric.
The proposed Master Plan of Broward Boulevard produces a paradigm shift by establishing an ecological and social response. Derived from the existing green conditions as well as excessive and easily convertible parking lots, the proposal creates green 'fingers' that engage the city. Working in harmony with the existing context. The the green fingers also allow the city to breathe and ventilate, diminishing the heat island effect. A bridge is created as a landmark for engaging community and promoting pedestrian connectivity withing the city. GROUP PROJECT_DESIGN 9
An Urbanized Public Link shaped by a dynamic architectural language geared towards the articulation of movement, is used to create a well organized transportation hub declaring an entrance to the city of Fort Lauderdale.
